It seems that the word is spreading...MohaveCountyKids.com has great news! We have had over 50,000 hits on our site this month! We have more exciting news! You can now find us in the Lake Havasu City Wal-Mart. We have been providing the Bullhead City Wal-Mart store with their event calendar for the last year...and we are proud to now provide the Lake Havasu City store with their event info as well.

*Check out our new technology! We now have RSS FEEDS! (BUILT IN) (Stay Connected) stayconnected_feed.gif

Now you can receive information as we post it! Click on the orange RSS Feeds icon (located at the bottom of our homepage).

What is an RSS feed?

The Simple Answer... An easy way to know about any new information being added to SantaCruzParent.com daily on things in our community ranging from events, reviews, parent chats, new classifieds posts and more. You view these short blurbs of information through your bookmark bar.
The Technical Answer... RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as current news. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources, such as ParentClick.com, including current events, summaries, and links to full stories.

How do you use it?

If you select ALL Articles & Updates link, you will receive two posts from each category. Or perhaps you only want to receive notice when a new blog (calendar event, etc) is posted, then click on the Blogs (calendar) link, etc.

This opens a new page: select where you want the feed to go (Bookmarks, Bloglines, My Yahoo*, Google*), then click on Subscribe. You will see a popup that asks you where you want it, on your browser toolbar or in your bookmarks dropdown menu. Once you choose this, you can click on your dropdown Bookmark/Favorites menu to view the actual feed.

If you have a google (or aol or yahoo) homepage, you can click on that button and it will place your feeds on that page.

Please contact us if you have any questions about this new technology!
