Lake Havasu Police Department offers several programs for the community.
Neighborhood Watch- Over 100 neighborhoods throughout the community have joined this cooperative crime fighting effort.
Youth Programs-School Resource Officers conduct training activities for local students. Programs offered are DARE- Drug Abuse Resistance Education, Fatal Vision impaired driving simulation, and Police Explorer Post.
The Explorers program educated youth to gain insight into possible future career goals in dispatch, patrol officers, corrections, or any law enforcement positions. Offers experiential learning with lots of fun filled, hands on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
